Technology

I’m pretty darn good at this technological thing. I’m an artist, a female artist at that, and I’m good at math*. And logic. GRE 720 at analytical logic good. And I can build a website that is W3C compliant. And I didn’t go to school for this.

And yet, I cannot figure out WordPress. I will eventually, but I am ever so picky about website appearance and I can’t figure out how to do much more than change fonts and colors within the WP code. And so, little by little, and with help from my tech guy at PC Partners, I am going to build my own independent blog. As time goes on, more features like RSS feed will appear. If I wait until I’ve got it all figured out, though, this blog will never happen. And it must happen.

Plus, as with all good rationalizations, a blog is a web log. Like a diary. A journal. Not a discussion group especially, although I do welcome comments and ideas. This is just stuff I’m putting out there. For you. And for me. Because I have to do so.

*Yep, that’s what I have to say about stereotypes. I’m organized too. Yikes!
